We install and service hurricane protection across all of New Providence — and we work smoothly for owners who are off-island, coordinating with property managers and documenting everything with photos.
Bahamas Hurricane Shutters serves the entire island of New Providence. Below is a closer look at the areas we cover most and how we work in each — but if your neighbourhood is not listed, call anyway. If it is on New Providence, we get there.
Nassau & Eastern Road
We cover central Nassau and out along Eastern Road daily, from older homes near downtown to the waterfront properties east of the city. These are often mixed protection jobs — feature windows facing the harbour, everyday openings that need quick closing, and garages that suit panels. We measure the whole house and plan the mix in one visit.
Cable Beach
Cable Beach homes and condos take direct salt exposure, so hardware choice matters even more here. We specify marine-grade aluminum and stainless fasteners as standard and see plenty of impact-glass work where owners want the noise and UV benefits along the strip. Paradise Island
On Paradise Island we work with both full-time residents and rental and second-home owners. Many properties are managed rather than owner-occupied, so we coordinate access and send photo documentation of every measurement and install. Rated protection with insurer documentation is the norm for the properties here.
Lyford Cay / Old Fort Bay / Albany
The western gated communities are largely second homes, and most of our work here happens without the owner on the island. We coordinate through property managers and estate staff, document everything with photos, and match products to homes where appearance is a priority — rated Bahama shutters and impact glass feature heavily. Discreet, scheduled, fully documented.
South Ocean & the southwest
We serve South Ocean and the southwestern side of New Providence, including the newer developments and coastal homes out that way. The drive is no obstacle — we plan measurement and install visits for the whole area so distance never means slower service. Same rated products, same documentation, same on-island support.
Off-island owners: we handle it without you here
A large share of western New Providence is second homes that sit empty for months. We are set up for exactly that. We coordinate directly with your property manager or estate staff to arrange access, carry out the measurement or install on schedule, and send you photo documentation of the work and the finished result. You approve quotes and see progress by phone and WhatsApp, wherever you are. Rated products come with the insurance documentation your Bahamian insurer needs, sent straight to you.
